*Convert Rx: Glasses to Contact Lenses* 👓 → 👁️

*Why conversion is needed?*
Glasses sit 12-14mm away from your eyes, but contact lenses sit directly on the eye. So the power changes slightly.

*How to read the chart:*

1. *Minus Power / Myopia* - Check left 2 columns  
   - Glasses -4.00 → Contacts -3.75  
   - Glasses -6.00 → Contacts -5.75  
   - *Rule:* Below -4.00: minus 0.25. Above -4.00: minus 0.25

2. *Plus Power / Hyperopia* - Check middle red column  
   - Glasses +4.00 → Contacts +4.25  
   - Glasses +6.00 → Contacts +6.50  
   - *Rule:* Plus power: add 0.25

*Example for Soft38:*  
If customer says glasses power is -5.50, then give Soft38 contact lens power -5.25.

1. This is a general guide for 12mm vertex distance only.  
2. For powers above -4.00, best to consult an eye doctor for final Rx.  
3. This chart won't work if there's Cylinder/Astigmatism.
